What are JEAmbi?

Welcome!

The Environmental Engineering Journeys (JEAmbi), an initiative of student members of the Environmental Engineering Students Nucleus (NEEA), are an annual event that aims to celebrate and highlight the importance of the existence of this Engineering.

It is an event that aims to transmit knowledge and innovation, allied to engineering and environmental conservation. Everyone is welcome! Relevant topics that shape us as a society will be discussed and some of the knowledge acquired can be put into practice: the event will consist of a series of lectures, which will focus on various topics, and the holding of some workshops.

In addition to the unique opportunity to participate in an event of this caliber, the JEAmbi also provide the perfect environment for acquiring professional skills and creating a bridge between the participant and the job market.

No átrio do Pavilhão de Civil, das 11h às 17h, a JEAmbi terá presente as seguintes empresas:

Pitch Room

A JEAmbi traz consigo uma novidade para ajudar os alunos a darem os seus primeiros passos no mercado de trabalho: o pitch room.

O pitch room é uma simulação de entrevistas rápidas com empresas que recrutam na área de Engenharia do Ambiente e não só, com o objetivo de desenvolver as soft skills dos alunos. A atividade será aberta a todos os alunos do IST, dando se prioridade aos alunos de engenharia do ambiente que estejam a acabar o curso (por ordem decrescente de ano). As empresas presentes serão: Galp, ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal, REN, Worten, Dstgroup, Helexia, Aqualogus e BeWater.
